    Represents the company to prospects seeking employment as an Outside Sales Representative. From the corporate office, the Recruiting Representative solicits prospects via phone and email to inform them of the opportunity to be hired as a Sales Representative in a local market. Responsible to move prospect to a hiring decision and schedule that prospect for training. Will communicate with local offices concerning upcoming training and scheduled prospects.

    The Sales Recruiter Specialist's primary responsibility is to hire prospects over the phone and schedule those new hires for training in a local office.

    • Develops a list of prospects from applicants that have expressed interest in working for EMG as well as contacting applicants that have posted resumes online.
    • Calls or receives calls from prospective new hires, explaining the role of Sales Representative
    • Enters names, contact information, and status of all prospects into the recruiting tracking system
    • Accurately discusses the company and the specifics of the Sales Representative role with the prospect in order to persuade the prospect to commit to attending training.
    • Forwards new hire contact information as well as training date/times to the local office
    • Communicates with new hire throughout the time leading up to training providing a Confirmation of Employment letter and confirming that the prospect plans to appear at training.
    • Coordinates with local office to ensure new hire paperwork is submitted to HR
    • Surveys prospects that do not appear for training or leave shortly after starting in order to determine the root cause
    • Posts marketing and recruiting approved ads in various publications
    • Provides ongoing support to Recruiting Coordinator in all areas relating to recruiting
    • Must maintain weekly and monthly quotas as defined by management
    • Spends 37.5 hours in a week in-office doing recruiting related activities such as calling and emailing prospects, coordinating training classes with local offices, maintaining a recruiting database, and contacting prospects no longer with EMG.

    • Strong phone skills and ability to maintain high average number of dials per day
    • Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
    • Friendly, outgoing, detail oriented personality
    • Self starter that thrives in a competitive, high energy environment
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and the ability to quickly master enterprise specific software
