    Position Description

    This position will involve partnering with the business, tracking performance, developing accurate budgets and projections, and support many ad-hoc operational items and projects. The Associate Director will partner closely with all GPS Finance Business Units as well as Corporate Finance functions, with potential dedicated support to one of the manufacturing business units. This position will report directly to the GPS FP&A COE Lead.

    • Support of the $3B P&L ($7B cost base)
    • Exposure to GPS SVP Finance, GPS EVP, and other top business and finance leaders
    • Drive business decisions and financial results
    • Obtain high-level understanding of GPS operations and/or detailed understanding of one of the manufacturing business units

    Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

    • Monitoring business performance, challenging results and developing recommendations to improve financial performance
    • Lead the financial month close, variance analysis, management reporting, and presentation of key insights to GPS SVP Finance and/or one of the manufacturing business unit Finance lead
    • Involvement in preparation of annual budget and projections
    • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support various initiatives (i.e. resource allocation)
    • Proactively identify, recommend, and lead improvements in financial analysis, reporting and processes
    • Ensuring relevant accounting procedures and controls are in place and ensuring all requirements for US GAAP are fulfilled

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA and/or MBA in finance preferred
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance roles
    • Strong working knowledge of BMS financial systems including SAP and Hyperion preferred
    • Strong accounting knowledge, financial and analytical skills as well as excellent business partnering abilities required
    • Experience working in complex matrix organization with competing demands on time and resources
