    Summary/Objective
    Responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of marketing initiatives, programs, materials and system. This position focuses on the creative development of marketing systems, brochures, website, organizational branding and point of sale ideas.
    Essential Functions

    • Working with the manager and in collaboration with other home office departments and the field, establishes and/or executes annual goals and objectives based on corporate marketing strategy.
    • Develops, promotes, enhances, and implements a variety of marketing programs and tools which may include: social media, direct mail, and/or sales presentations. Implements and maintains a consistent marketing message across all print and electronic communications between the home office and the field.
    • Identifies sales tools needed at the point of sale and then designs, creates and maintains these tools based on the department's overall marketing strategy. These items include: PowerPoint presentations, financial calculators, product brochures, one-page sales ideas, worksheets, and all pieces related to our Planning for Life sales system.
    • Marketing must help sales with Lead generation through marketing activities, website development.
    • Responsible for event planning, trade shows. This position will organize and manage trade shows.
    • Create and improve internal branding materials, including PowerPoint templates, Letter Templates, email signature templates, etc. Create standard work around use and of internal tools.
    • Conducts market and industry research and integrates into current marketing strategy.
    • Supports field in responding to sales and marketing requests. Answers questions from Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Regional Sales reps regarding available marketing tools (brochures, presentations, website updates, social media).
    • Travels to conferences, trade shows and regional offices and stays up-to-date with trends and the competition.
    • May negotiate with vendors (e.g. social media platform, direct mail system, marketing promotional items).
    • Performs other duties as requested.

    Performance Management and Success in the RoleThe output of the Marketing Coordinator will be linked to the corporate goals of Revenue Expansion and EBITDA enhancement but will also include the ability to connect with the regional outside sales team, customers, understanding of the business, and the rest of the sales teams.     Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Travel
    This position requires up to 25% travel. Some of the travel could be international.

    Required Education and Experience
    • B.A. or B.S. degree.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a marketing coordinator for an advertising or PR agency or other large company with multiple concurrent projects.

    Preferred Education and Experience
    • Bi-lingual/multi-lingual. Fluent in writing and speaking French
