    **Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist in Inpatient/Acute Care**

    - **Shift:** 5x8 hour days (08:00 - 17:00)
    - **Certifications Required:** TX PT license (pending accepted)
    - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in acute care settings
    - **Travel Experience:** Not required, but some acute care experience preferred

    **About the Role:**
    - Join a dynamic team in a thriving 450-bed hospital with a patient census of approximately 360.
    - Collaborate with a robust team of 8-10 Physical Therapists and 6-8 Physical Therapist Assistants every day.
    - Engage in a variety of cases including:
    - Orthopedics
    - Neurology
    - Oncology
    - Post-operative care for back and neck surgeries
    - Medical-surgical and ICU patients
    - Work closely with Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Therapy (ST) teams, as well as case management, to provide comprehensive patient care.

    **Your Skills and Expertise:**
    - Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation Hospitals is preferred.
    - Proficient in:
    - Cystic fibrosis and lobe clearance techniques
    - Breathing techniques and management of COPD, CHF, and other cardiopulmonary conditions
    - Various orthopedic and neurologic conditions including post-stroke rehabilitation
    - Competent in patient documentation and time management.

    - Daily patient load: 10-12
    - Productivity standards: 80%
    - Flexible pre-approved time off: 1 request
    - Orientation hours: 24
    - Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
