    Our Opportunity:
    The Sr. Manager, Media and Marketing Procurement, North America role will be responsible for managing up to $500m spend per year including Media Buying (Traditional and Digital) and Creative Agencies


    We are seeking a skilled Media Procurement Expert to develop and own the Procurement strategies and negotiate media and creative inventory for our clients (Brand CMOs and Media/Marketing Teams).

    Your primary objective will be through high quality strategy development and effective execution to ensure advertisements effectively reach target audiences through high-quality channels while keeping costs to a minimum.


    In this role, you will need to excel in critical thinking abilities, strategy development , negotiations and establish trust and rapport with both internal clients and external media partners.

    Overall goal is to optimize ad exposure, ensuring RBI brand competitiveness vs competitors and effectively manage budgets to achieve maximum impact.


    As a Media Procurement Expert, your responsibilities will encompass strategic media and marketing buying, campaign optimization, agency negotiation and performance analysis/management.

    This role will actively prioritize and manage the following key activities and responsibilities:


    Responsibilities:
    Build, align, and sign off North America Media Buying and Creative Procurement Category Strategies

    Be a Thought Leader on the Media Industry Market Knowledge. Ensure up to date in terms of market dynamics (as any media director)
    Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
    Understand and propose new platforms and channels
    Assess business risks associated with current and proposed procurement approach
    Ensure Seamless alignment with marketing and media peers- making sure their goals are the same.


    Assess and recommend opportunities to optimize internal media support structure, including organization, process, and tools/technology, capturing any opportunities to leverage enterprise scale.


    Supplier Relationship Management:
    Foster external Agency/Supplier partnerships. Set the routines, tone and Performance management agenda by which agency partners work. Behaviors must be progressive, inclusive and fair. Ensure that full value of investment profile is captured within holding company(ies).
    Commercial Negotiations

    Compare and negotiate rates, ad space and airtime.
    Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix.
    Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI).

    Report to clients and build long-term relationships.

    Qualifications:

    5+ years of proven experience as Media Procurement expert or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
    Familiarity with media-buying strategy development, planning and research
    Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g. comScore)
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    Organizational and multitasking abilities
    Critical thinking skills
    Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    Preferably BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field
