Brief Summary:

The Operation Control Planner is responsible for planning scheduling and coordinating the service workflow in the Service group for the applicable Service region. This position will be instrumental in work planning scheduling and documentation of service projects.
This position will perform load versus capacity analysis to assure that adequate Service resources are available. This position will provide feedback to management on labor equipment shortages effective allocation of resource capabilities.
Conducts order review meetings of incoming new orders to verify schedule material safety commercial requirements Prepare material requisitions for any required project materials rentals Prepare work order information for crews Schedule dispatch personnel and equipment for region Conduct exit meetings with crew leaders to review work orders Monitor compliance to the schedule Modify the schedule as emergencies occur Provide technical logistical support to crews in field as required Collect distribute all applicable post job information including trip reports time sheets test reports processing logs QA/QC checklists Maintain master job schedule for region supply updates to open order reports Review code purchase card statements A/P activities as applicable Review invoicing notifications to order administrator Assist FSM calibration maintenance planning of equipment KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES Self-motivated possessing strong influencing organization communication skills keen sense business sales revenue targets Excellent written verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills focus attention detail Must team player positive attitude willing support other areas business Strong interpersonal skills cooperation negotiate agreement customers suppliers internal employees Strong business acumen multi-task handle multiple projects concurrently cost effectively meet fixed schedules Knowledge Power Transformer Field Service operations EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Required Education Experience Bachelor degree related technical field 3-5 years previous experience scheduling operations service industry minimum progressive experience field service operations substation related transformer manufacturing ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Key Working Relationships Works other departments Customers Field Service Managers Field Project Managers FST-Lead Techs Components Physical Demands Must sit stand extended periods time Working Conditions Shop-floor office environment located manufacturing facility external customer sites Prolec GE Waukesha Inc equal opportunity employer employment decisions regard race color religion national origin sex sexual orientation gender identity age genetic information disability protected veteran status reason prohibited law
