- Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on a daily basis.
- Work collaboratively with the Traffic Department and Accounting to provide top- notch, timely, and efficient service to customers.
- Monitoring of reports.
- Accurate and timely billing to customers.
- Providing customer service via email and telephone correspondence to address customer questions and concerns.
- Ensure customer needs are consistently met and assist to resolve inquiries
- Expedite clearance and delivery to exceed customer requirements
- Work well in a team environment and assist other peers when needed
- Maintaining good relationships with various vendors such as carriers, truckers, terminals, etc.
- Process and manage import and/or export shipments
- Prepare price quotes on the international freight
- Prepare necessary documents for shipments
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers as well as vendors specifically steamship lines and customs
- Research and resolve operational problems
- Ensure customer needs are consistently met and assist to resolve inquiries
- Additional duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
- Previous experiences in logistics, cargo management, supply chain, customer service, dispatcher, warehouse, logistics specialist, administrative assistant, data entry, transportation, and logistics analyst are preferred Pay, Benefits and More:
