• Advancement opportunitiesWhat is the job like? As the Production Laser Welder, you will prioritize, perform, and deliver laser welded products to the next operation. This is a weekday, first shift hours, full time position in our Cedar Park, Texas facility. RESPONSIBILITIES Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Operate, program, and set-up laser welding machines. Measure before and after operations. Collaborate and effectively communicate with coworkers and engineers to quickly resolve problems related to products and procedures. Resolves most problems and refers only more complex issues to higher levels. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONSRequired 2 years or more experience operating, programming, and setting up pulsed benchtop laser welding machines, utilizing filler wire material.

Excellent hand-eye coordination Able to read and interpret blueprints. Handle small components with accuracy. Able to sit for extended periods of time of 8 or more hours. Able to properly utilize calibrated measuring devices. Requires fine motor skills. Work requires good patience. Work is repetitive in nature. Self-driven to complete tasks, autonomous in nature.
Pass a laser welding test, holding tight tolerances.
