    The base salary range for this position is $80,582 to $104,756 and is dependent upon experience.
    Job Summary

    Works for the Manager of Research and Strategic Communications to support the development and delivery of customer communications across 8 Avangrid operating companies to achieve business objectives.

    Works with internal clients and subject matter experts to identify communication needs, develop accurate, compliant, on-brand communications, and coordinate delivery to targeted customers.

    Manages stakeholder approvals to deliver communications on schedule.
    Key Responsibilities

    35% Manages the development of a communication playbook (monthly paper and electronic newsletters, bill messages, billing envelopes, and telephone on-hold messages).

    Initiates creative development and copywriting for up to eight operating companies per month.

    Works closely with graphic designers to develop communication pieces and actively manages through the 5-stage approval process with internal stakeholders up to and including the Vice Presidents of Customer Service.

    Assure all mandates for these communication channels are tracked and delivered on time.
    30% Manages the delivery of gas safety public awareness campaigns for NY, CT, MA, and ME gas companies. Maintain a plan for gas safety mandates and account for mandate completion and spending. Serve as liaison to Natural Gas Association Public Awareness Committee

    25% Lead the development of communications for small to medium-sized communication projects in response to emerging business issues and ideas (service recovery, electrical safety, supplier choice, etc.).

    Meet with internal clients to understand the request, and develop an approach to deliver on-strategy, on-brand, and on-time communications. Requires internal stakeholder and vendor management (commercial printers, direct mail services, media buyers).
    5% Support small web requests for updates to Company Websites working in the Web platform.

    5% Provides support for Emergency Events for NY, CT and ME by participating in a 52-week rotation of key resources to support customer communication needs as indicated by the Public Information Officer during incidents.

    Required Qualifications
    Experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    Excellent oral and written communication skills – copywriting, editing, and proofing.
    Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    Ability to manage vendors for on-time, high-quality deliverables
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects at a time
    A combination of a Bachelor's Degree or four to eight years of experience will be considered
    A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business is preferred
    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working in email platforms such as dotdigital, Mailchimp, Constant Contact

    Ability to write HTML code

    Experience with web platform editing, building, management

    Experience with Mail Merge, commercial printing, direct mail services, media buyers

    Data analysis experience

    Project management experience and/or communications planning

    Skilled in Excel and/or Power BI

    Prior experience using Adobe Workfront or similar project management and communications proofing tool
