    We have an exciting opportunity for someone interested in growing into a leadership role within healthcare.
    This is a full-time, non-exempt, position primarily located at our corporate business office in Oakton, Virginia. There may be times this role will require working from an administrative space located within a clinical office environment.

    The Team Lead will partner with department and company leadership to provide front line support to team members and patients.

    Training & Team Member SupportAssist team members with troubleshooting and escalations.

    Partner with leadership to provide training to current employees to include retraining, rollouts of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), new workflows, and/or new systems.

    Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with staff, customers, and peers while contributing to a team environment.

    Lead by example in upholding all company policies and procedures support leadership in ensuring all company policies and procedures are upheld.

    Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and take an active role in implementation as appropriate.
    Partner with department leadership to optimize staff scheduling based on business needs.
    Make recommendations for team meeting agendas to leadership and actively participate/facilitate as appropriate.

    Operations & Analytics Ensure all communications received through the Capital Area Pediatrics Laboratory and Pharmacy notification mailbox are reviewed and appropriately actioned within established SLAs.

    Responsible for the onboarding of newborn families through the Newborn Concierge process.
    Effectively explain and support new patients through the registration process.
    Confirm self-scheduled appointments and monitor appointment requests.
    Serve as a Customer Service Ambassador, providing engaged and thorough support to new and current patients.
    Participate in weekend leadership rotation.

    Support department leadership in monitoring productivity within key systems (Athena EMR, Phreesia, Crexendo) to identify when additional support is needed and/or to identify training priorities.

    Support department leadership in monitoring shared mailboxes pertaining to the department services and action accordingly.
    Support department leadership in ensuring referrals are completed timely to support patient needs.

    Support department leadership in identifying the need for new or modified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Support the capture and analyzation of data from Patient Services platforms to support metrics driven decision-making.

    Other Duties Employees may be asked to take on other duties as assigned and escalate any concerns to leadership or Human Resources.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Highly effective user of Patient Intake Software.
    Excellent computer skills i.e., Microsoft Office suite, ability to navigate websites and experience with practice management software knowledge.
    Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations.
    Time management and strong organizational skills.
    Knowledge of general administration in a healthcare setting.
    Can work independently and with a team.

    Working Conditions This position is primarily based in an administrative office setting, but may require work within a clinical environment (pediatric primary care office) to support business operations.

    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
    Continuously operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and phone.
    The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
    This position may require occasional overtime in order to support business needs and participation in the weekend leadership rotation.
    Requirements Undergraduate degree in Health Administration or related degree.
    Experience training others in a professional setting training involving computer systems is strongly preferred.
    One (1) years of leadership experience in a professional setting strongly preferred.
    Healthcare industry experience required.

    Demonstrated understanding and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).Demonstrated experience utilizing Patient Intake Software Phreesia strongly preferred.

    Demonstrated experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records Athena strongly preferred.
