    SCOPE:

    Position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspect of the Quality Management System (QMS), FAI, Source Inspection, and customer audits. Promotes, develops, and oversees compliance of the QMS system. Assures compliance of customer requirements by managing quality policies, standards, procedures, programs, and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement.

    DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES : (including but are not limited to)

  • Leads through effective selection, training and evaluation of members and through effective delegation and follow up tasks.
  • Enforces departmental policies and ensures procedures are always being followed.
  • Schedules and assigns work within the unit to regulate workflow and meet required schedules.
  • Familiarity with FMEA, C&E Matrix, Detail Process and Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis and Error Proofing tools.
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and AS9100D. Leads the internal audit team.
  • Supports customer and industry audits including AS9100 and Nadcap.
  • Coordinate inspection as required and perform in house self release source activities as required.
  • Oversees First Article Inspection process per AS9102.
  • Involvement in 9CI (9 elements of continuous improvement) initiative throughout the site.
  • Coordinate defect escape prevention activities with QE and Process Engineering for all production and inspection departments.
  • Oversees NCMR area for coordination and disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Creates and updates QMS and department procedures to ensure all customer and industry standards are being met.
  • Oversees documentation control for all forms and procedures in use.
  • Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual in house ESD and solder station calibrations.
  • All other assigned duties as required within the quality organization.
  • SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year degree in Quality/Technical field and 6+ years experience in electronics manufacturing, engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.
  • Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum of 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam in required annually.
  • Experience with, and a demonstrated understanding of Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation, as well as the ability to develop, implement, and drive improvement plans and project teams to successful completion.
  • Strong background in the use and understanding of key manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Strong communication, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good English skills and ability to read, write and communicate clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

    Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

    Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
