Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Financial Analyst to add to the ExploreLearning Finance team.
The Financial Analyst's responsibilities include assisting with the ExploreLearning business unit's financial planning and budgeting, examining financial reports, monitoring expenses versus budget, preparing forecasts, supporting business decision-making and strategic support, supporting Cambium enterprise level financial activities, and performing research as may be required by ExploreLearning or Cambium leadership.
To be successful as a Financial Analyst, you should be able to perform a variety of financial activities including planning, research, budgeting, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Reviewing and examining financial reports.
Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
Assisting cost center owners, managers and leadership with financial guidance and research as needed.
Developing financial projections and building financial models.
Reviewing and analyzing sales trends and forecasts with sales team and leadership
Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
Exceptional organizational and management skills.
Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented and able to perform under time pressure.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel needed; proficiency in Workday, Adaptive and Tableau a plus.
2+ years of experience in finance or accounting related work.
