    Med-Biomedical Informatics - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh

    Evaluates business requirements, creates advanced data ingestion processes and modeling, and provides extensive support for databases and relevant services. Designs new data architectures. Ensures data quality and delivery. Trains and assists lower-level data engineers; often serves as team lead. Supports data analysts and scientists with expert-level research and consulting.

    Essential Functions

    Job responsibilities include using data science, knowledge representation, and related techniques to generate insights from biomedical data.

    Key tasks may include data ingest and cleaning; assessing key attributes of data, building machine learning models, and building semantic models.

    You will work with clinicians and researchers to develop and execute plans, including the development of processing pipelines and storage representation.

    This work will involve the use of tools such as Python, R, and Jupyter notebooks. Clearly documented code and reproducible workflows are required. You will be expected to identify, understand, and use new tools as needed to complete key tasks.
