- Maintain an organized documentation file system for up-to-date drawings and specifications.
- Manage Documentation Change Request (DCR) system.
- Collaborate on the design and development of jigs and fixtures.
- Review customer documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Translate customer specifications into detailed shop drawings.
- Generate additional drawings for fabrication as needed.
- Assist in analytical design and development.
- Prepare and implement design changes as required.
- Develop and/or review Traveler documents for operation sequences.
- Assemble comprehensive work order packages for shop floor issuance.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in technical drawing techniques and technical drawing software programs.
- Comprehensive understanding of dimensional blueprint reading.
- Ability to convert measurements between metric and imperial units.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in mechanical design and fabrication preferred.
