With headquarters in Fargo, North Dakota, Magnum services various industries in the US. The Diesel/Tractor Trailer Tech is responsible for routine maintenance on diesel engine semi-tractors, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and performing thorough inspections and repairs on semi-trailers and reefer units in accordance with DOT requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and make recommendations on repairs as required
• Perform repairs and modifications on all styles of tractors and trailers
• Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Follow company protocol when checking lights, tires, greasing, adjusting brakes, and checking framework on Trailers
• Perform all types of welding (i.e. aluminum, steel, and stainless steel)
• Use of computer to login/log out orders and invoices
• Change oil, air, and fuel filters
• Use of handle tools such as Brake drum dolly, creepers, man lift/scissor lift
• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engine semi-tractors
• Identify issues using diagnostic computer software

Requirements
