We're Hiring: Senior Desktop Support Specialist at Trinity Health

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: Day Shift

Description: Join our team as the Senior Desktop Support Specialist where you will be responsible for leading a team of client technologies analysts and technicians. You'll coordinate activities, direct projects, and provide expert support for desktop and network hardware and software applications.

Essential Functions:

Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Leads team by assigning work, setting priorities, and coordinating efforts among IS teams.
Provides analytical and technical expertise in the planning, design and installation of desktop systems.
Acts as an expert information source on product evaluation, selection, deployment, and use.
Evaluates new support tools and provides solutions to complex hardware and software issues.
Leads technical participation in customer projects and deployment of new technologies.
Assists in technology strategic planning and budgeting.
Provides consultation to IS users and develops end-user guidelines.
Coaches and mentors team members.
Maintains knowledge of laws and regulations related to the role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Five or more years of hands-on experience in installing complex applications and troubleshooting techniques.
Microsoft and Personal Computer Certifications required.
Advanced skills with Microsoft desktop operating system and applications.
Experience in networking concepts and IS best practices.
PC Imaging experience.
Team leading experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware malfunctions.
Adept at multi-tasking.

Ability to read and interpret technical procedures.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
