The Facilities Maintenance Tech I performs routine maintenance repairs on facilities and electrical systems including plumbing heating cooling HVAC generators fire safety systems plans repair work general repairs that do not require a specialized technician ensures facilities are available for use consistently maintained in a safe clean condition orders supplies materials needed for repairs follows safe working practices makes appropriate use of related equipment maintains troubleshoots all facility equipment reports addresses maintenance deficiencies items in need of repair performs deep cleaning tasks special projects as needed inspects identifies equipment machines in need of repair must perform necessary work maintain optimum level of cleanliness employees customers.Responsibilities
