    What you'll do...

    As a Senior Manager of Technology Support, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving systems issues, driving and executing projects & Initiatives across geolocation and platforms, managing the design and development of tracking tools and reports, and leading change initiatives from concept to implementation.

    You will also be involved in standard operating procedure creation efforts, providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, and ensuring business needs are being met.

    Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE).

    We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics.

    From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally.


    What you'll do:


    Identifies and resolves systems issues by providing continuous technical support; troubleshooting systems issues; developing solutions to eliminate failure points and improve system up time; collaborating with stakeholders to determine root cause of systems issues; and communicating systems issues and resolutions to senior leadership.

    Drives and executes projects across divisions and platforms by developing and implementing staffing plans; training and directing subject matter experts to execute projects; ensuring tasks are executed in order to achieve project goals;administering third-party contracts for project work; monitoring progress versus project plans; managing changes to project plans; prioritizing, resolving, and analyzing critical issues ; tracking project expenditures and budgets; developing performance reports; and performing project closing procedures.

    Manages the design and development of tracking tools, reports, and surveys that improve business efficiency by using various analysis methodologies to analyze and interpret information for one or more initiative work streams ; ensuring data accuracy; consolidating data and information into dashboards and other reporting tools; providing expert suggestions andadvice on content usability and effectiveness.

    Drives the development of annual project management, capital, infrastructure, and operating expense budgets by coordinating budgeting efforts with other business units ; assembling budget estimates from technology managers; assessing return-on-investment or recurring need to prioritize budget requests; identifying personnel needs for projects; and preparing future budget recommendations for senior leadership approval.

    Leads change initiatives from concept to implementation by managing technology solutions; recommending technical and conceptual ideas to establish understanding and acceptance of technology solutions; assessing readiness of technology solutions.

    Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress andadjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstratingadaptability and supporting continuous learning.

    Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

    Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

    Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

    The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 5 years'experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.


    Option 2: 7 years' experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.

    2 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
