    Job DescriptionA hospital in Richmond, VA is currently seeking to add a Radiology Technologist to join their team full-timeCheck out the details below:

    Title: Radiology Technologist

    Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

    Setting: Radiology

    Location: Richmond, VA

    Schedule: Full-time, various schedules available ranging from week nights, evenings, days and weekend nights. On-call required.

    Pay: $27 - $48/hr based on experience plus various shift differentials and a sign on bonus up to $15K to qualified applicants Relocation available on a case-by-case basis.

    The Radiology Technologist's duties to include but not be limited to:

    • Obtains quality radiographs of patients within the department as well as with portable equipment in an acceptable timeframe.
    • Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations (i.
    e. Meditech and PACS). Ensure proper charges are entered and referring physician's orders are verified.

    • Prepares examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
    Monitors inventory of supplies during room rotation. Maintain room cleanliness and neat appearance of work areas and dressing rooms.

    • Assists the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents and all types of care to the patient.
    • Completes and maintains personal educational requirements.
    REQUIREMENTS:


    • Must be a graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technology licensure (within 6 months of hire) required.
    • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
    • Minimum of 1 year previous Radiology Technologist experience is preferred.
