- Prepare and send invoices to customers according to contract terms and billing schedules
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers on overdue balances
- Apply cash receipts and credit notes to customer accounts
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and customer statements
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing and collections
- Maintain accurate and complete records of accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- At least two years of experience in accounts receivable or billing
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy
- Fully onsite
- Monday-Friday: 40 hours/week
- Pay: $ /ph.

Job DescriptionAccounts Receivable Specialist- Kansas City, MOLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in the Kansas City Metro, looking to fill their Accounts Receivable role. This position will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling payments, contacting customers, and maintaining records. You will also assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, OR at least two years of experience in accounts receivable or billing. You should also have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
