POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides comprehensive clinical audiology evaluations. Responsibilities include coordination of various audiology activities and the performance of any and all clinical audiology procedures necessary to completely evaluate and rehabilitate the auditory functions of patients for the University Health.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Doctor of Audiology is required. One year experience as a licensed audiologist is preferred. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association is preferred.
LICENSURE
Must have and maintain current licensure by Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Must be a participating Medicaid and Medicare provider or be eligible to obtain a Medicaid and Medicare provider number. Any additional registration determined by the State will need to be completed within 60 days of start date. xhmxlyz Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
