    Job DescriptionVCA Valley Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Surgery Department.

    The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and client care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

    In addition to excellent communication skills, the Surgery Department values:

    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of specialty surgery; and comfort with creating and discussing treatment plans/costs with clients Attention to detail and self-motivated Passion for attentive client care & pride in providing an honest/positive client experience Skilled in developing, maintaining, and enhancing referring clinic relationships Ability to work with & within the various teams in the hospital (Primary Care, Emergency, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, ICU, Exotics)You've worked hard for your knowledge and skills.

    $1- 20/hour (includes scale for licensed & unlicensed associates)

    CE allowance:
    CVT $750/yearTypical schedule for this department is:Monday
    • Thursday 7a 5p; however flexible schedule availability & the ability to work occasional holidays & weekends are a must.
    Full time only.
