Job summary
We're looking for a Mail Services Specialist to be part of our busy Mail Center team. It's a fast-paced job that requires someone who is focused, accurate and comfortable working under deadline pressure.The reward: You'll be exposed to every part of SAIF's business from claims processing to payroll reports and who knows where you might go from there?
Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail according to established procedures.
- Sort and batch incoming mail prioritizing documents process them according guidelines load mail onto carts deliver assigned locations prepare high volume outgoing meet deadlines USPS UPS FedEx regulations operate various equipment including slicers folders computerized metering machines scales printers written procedures research missing claim or policy information on paper electronic utilizing in-house computer applications prepare correspondence return records claim numbers providers established procedures communicate professionally internal external customers phone electronically inquiries transfer calls appropriate person research address information outgoing make corrections notify sender corrected address process check mailings pairing related attachments online applications established procedures presort batch select cost-effective delivery means prepare bulk printed correspondence inserting folded documents envelopes relevant inserts manually machine respond requests expedited correspondences monitor maintain routine routine maintenance perform problems supervisor Information Division required explore diverse perspectives behave sensitively cultural norms expectations ways communicating work effectively others different backgrounds styles
