    As a Program Manager III in our Education and Training focus area within the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, you will oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals.

    Some of your main duties will include organizing various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects, and developing programs and project budgets.

    This role will aid in designing DEI curriculum, act as a DEI facilitator and manage the DEI facilitator program. This individual will take the lead on a range of research activities. Strong research and analytical skills are preferred.

    Strong candidates will have deep knowledge and subject-matter expertise in health equity, organizational development, and/or diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).

    Job Specific Responsibilities:
    Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities. Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. Allocates time to meet completion requirements. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

    Leads laboratory safety and compliance related projects, such as standard operating procedure development, or preparation and maintenance of educational materials/resources.

    Presents laboratory safety and compliance training to basic and clinical researchers. Leads meetings, organizes meeting agendas and supporting materials, and records meeting minutes in a timely manner. Documents risk mitigation efforts and assists with drafting reports. Coordinates and documents internal and external monitoring events and drills and assists with developing and implementing risk mitigation projects. Assists with maintaining an up-to-date website and on-boarding platform. Performs monitoring of laboratory research records and assists with data integrity initiatives. Acts as safety and compliance education liaison with local and remote research locations. Other duties as assigned.


    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
    Master's degree preferred.
    Master's degree preferred in the social sciences, preferably in sociology or psychology.


    Certifications:


    May be required for specific positions as per policy or plexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
    Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational, financial management and problem solving skills.
    Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development.
    Strong presentation, communication and training skills required for most positions.


    Work Experience:
    Minimum of five years of related experience; healthcare setting preferred

    Offset:
    Master's degree and four years of experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree preferred in the social sciences, preferably in sociology or psychology.
    Educational degree in biology, molecular biology, or other life sciences preferred.
    Experience in a university laboratory setting, most specifically scientific research (biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, virology, microbiology) preferred.
    Experience working with databases, writing standard operating procedures or other technical documentation preferred.

    Experience giving presentations and providing training, which requires ability to present in a classroom or virtual setting (public speaking skills) preferred.


    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
    Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

    Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
