    Vast is seeking an Associate People Business Partner to join the People Team, reporting to the Senior People Business Partner.

    This is a full-time, exempt position based at our Long Beach location.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide operational support to the Senior People Business Partners supporting various teams across multiple locationsCollaborate with Senior People Business Partners to execute HR programs like performance management, employee engagement, talent management and organizational designFacilitate the progress of a variety of HR projects in conjunction with the Senior People Business PartnersPartner with stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are metAssist with the development and implementation of new HR processes as required to grow the businessResearch and keep current on HR industry trends including but not limited to areas such as employee engagement, retention, and other best practicesModel and reinforce our cultural values of being kind, smart, creative and curiousCoordinate all employee changes with Payroll and People OperationsBe first point of contact for leave of absence requests in partnership with People OperationsSupport Senior People Business Partners and client groups on change management and communications effortsConduct Exit Interviews for client groups

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent years of experience2+ years experience in a human resources roleAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

    Preferred Skills & Experience:
    Ability to prioritize workload, demonstrate initiative, and manage competing prioritiesHR experience in a tech start-up or high growth companyExperience supporting the deployment of HR systems and processesFamiliarity with core HR domains, including performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and employee relationsExperience with people data analyticsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    Additional Requirements:
    Ability to travel at least once quarterly to our Mojave facility and as needed to our Hawthorne locationWillingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones

    Pay Range:
    Associate People Business Partner I: $70,700 - $100,500People Business Partner II: $84,400 - $121,500#J-18808-Ljbffr
