    Manager Security Strategic Services

    on behalf of our client,

    Froedtert Health

    located in Milwaukee, WI.

    Manager responsible for overseeing the 24-hour Hospital Security Operations Center. Directs the daily operations of the security communications center, staffing, technical services, training, access management, and investigations. Directs strategic planning for security management, conducts gap analysis, risk analysis, regulatory compliance; and evaluates departmental policies and procedures.

    Assists in the planning, implementation and coordination of safety and security programs and technology to reduce risk to patients, visitors and staff.

    Other duties as assigned.


    EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum of 10 years in Law Enforcement/Security Officer with 3 years in a supervisory role. 1 year of Law Enforcement/Security dispatch, technical and communications experience required.


    EDUCATION:
    Bachelors Degree required


    TRAINING:
    Completion of advanced safety training is required.


    SPECIAL SKILLS:
    Must be familiar with access control systems. Must have working knowledge of technical systems, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring. Must have good public relations skills. Must be hard working and honest.

    RESPONSIBILTIES:
    Assures Security Department functions properly coordinating and supervising all activities. Oversees the daily operation of the security function relating to the Communications Center, technical services, training, badging and investigations.

    Conducts gap assessments of area responsibilities, conducts annual evaluation of the Security Management Plan according to Joint Commission Standards, and conducts annual evaluations of the Security Strategic Plan.

    Plans, oversees and conducts; the formation, maintenance and coordination of the Security Technology Programs.

    Acts as a liaison with outside organizations such as the fire, police and other related departments maintaining harmonious relationships and informs facility leadership on credible intelligence and other information concerning activities that may impact the Froedtert mission and patient care.

    Prepares reports, assessments, policies, procedures, processes, training program and appropriate documentation relating to job responsibilities. Ensure that they are in compliance with applicable laws / standards of care (e.g. TJC, OSHA). Standardize and improve department documentation.

    Oversees and maintains the key control system, identification badge program and building access plans, modifications, and changes as use dictates.

    Responsible for the hiring, evaluating and discipline of the Security Department Strategic Services staff.

    Analyze staffing level needs for the Security Department and provide recommendations for appropriate level of security staffing and monitor security operations center personnel compliance with policies, procedures, training, and equipment.

    Manage the Incident Reporting System to ensure that crime, fire, injury, or other incidents are reported and fully investigated as it relates to job responsibility.

    Manage the collection and provide the analysis of security data to guide risk based decisions regarding Security Program prioritization
