- Diagnose Electrical Issues:
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical problems in vehicles.
- Inspect wiring, circuits, and components to determine the root cause of malfunctions.
- Analyze diagnostic codes and perform necessary tests to pinpoint electrical issues accurately.
- Repair and Replace Components:
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, relays, and connectors as needed.
- Install new electrical components, such as batteries, alternators, starters, and ignition systems.
- Test repaired or replaced parts to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in automotive technology preferred. ASE Certification Vehicle Electrical preferred
- Proven experience as an automotive electrical technician or similar role.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and scan tools.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with vehicle computer systems and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Description
The Automotive Electrical Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles. This role involves troubleshooting various electrical issues, installing and repairing wiring, components, and accessories, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of vehicle electronics. The technician must possess a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and be adept at using diagnostic tools and equipment.
This is a 1-2 month assignment with possibility for extension in which you will be working to repair electrical issues on new off the assembly line vehicles. Work schedule will be 2nd shift and working 10-12 hour days being paid $45hr plus 1.5x for Overtime hours.
