    Description

    The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Cherrelyn will work closely with our patients and Occupational Therapists to provide rehabilitative care and improve quality of life. This is a full-time or part-time role in Littleton, CO that offers a competitive salary of $32 per hour to $35 per hour per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain their physical strength and mobility.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist Occupational Therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients under their care. Help patients with exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
    • Observe and document patients' progress and report to the Occupational Therapist.
    • Instruct patients and family members on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use.
    • Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
    • Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
    • Adhere to all healthcare and safety standards.
    • Participate in regular training and educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.

    Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
    • State licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Occupational Therapy Assistant.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices.
    • Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients with physical activities.
