    CareATC: Provide patient care the way you always envisioned in a primary care setting

    About This Opportunity: CareATC is currently looking for a PRN Registered Dietitian to work collaboratively with our primary care and interdisciplinary care teams to provide nutrition counseling, exceptional patient care, and achieve optimum health in a clinical setting. The CareATC approach to is to work with our patient population to assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education.

    This is a fully remote opportunity. Must be licensed in GA with flexibility to provide coverage during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8 am -5 pm.

    The role of the Health Coach:
    • Provide nutrition assessments, education, and counseling for employees and dependents.
    • Use motivational interviewing to assist patients with behavior change.
    • Facilitate wellness education programs to members.
    • Collaborate with other team members to develop health education curriculum for site.
    • Present on a variety of health education topics to larger groups (in-person and/or webinar).
    • Conduct telephonic and electronic outreach to at-risk members to increase service engagement and health center utilization (if applicable).
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    • Registered Dietitian (RD) required.
    • Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or Human Nutrition strongly preferred.
    • State licensure (if required in practice state).
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing in a clinical setting.
    • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred.
    • A passion for using evidence-based nutrition to promote health and prevent and manage chronic health conditions.
    • Must have experience with public speaking, feel comfortable presenting to business groups, and be familiar with motivational interviewing.
