- Conduct comprehensive health screening of participants prior to their enrollment in clinical trials.
- Collaborate with the clinical research team to monitor and manage any adverse reactions or side effects.
- Administer investigational treatments and medications as prescribed by the study protocol, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor participants during clinical trial visits, assessing vital signs, laboratory results, and overall health status.
- Support patient recruitment and retention through follow up.
- Find solutions to increase patient recruitment by debottlenecking any challenges faced through each stage – registration, pre-screening, screening, and scheduling
- Educate participants about the trial procedures, potential risks and benefits, and ensure informed consent is obtained and documented.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all clinical trial activities, including participant assessments, medication administration, and adverse event reporting.
- Communicate effectively with principal investigators, study coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care for participants.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on clinical trial protocols, regulations, and best practices.
- Adhere to ethical principles and regulatory guidelines governing human subjects research, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- Foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the clinical trial team, promoting a positive experience for participants and colleagues alike.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Texas
- Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in a research or clinical trials setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research principles, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with adverse event management during clinical trials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with participants, investigators, and research staff.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting physical assessments, interpreting laboratory results, and managing acute and chronic health conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Position overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team as we conduct human clinical trials.
