The role of the Senior Accountant includes preparing accounts receivable reports, performing account reconciliations and will be a vital member of the finance team.

About the Senior Accountant role:

Senior accountant will facilitate bank transitions, managing bank changes and transfers
Provide oversight to entity separation
Assisting with journal entries
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
Prepares and records journal entries
Performs fixed asset analysis, documentation, and various reconciliations
Performs accounts receivable reconciliations and revenue recognition
Assists with year-end audits
Assists with month-end close activities
Process improvements that drive change throughout the month
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

Previous experience with transitioning bank accounts is a PLUS
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles
Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
Accuracy and attention to detail
