    Life Solutions Counseling is a strength-based group counseling practice whose mission is to help people reach their full potential. We provide evidence-based and best practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Concurrent Documentation, and Art/Interactive Play Therapy to assist children and families in achieving successful independence and self-sufficiency. Life Solutions has board-certified clinicians licensed for outpatient therapy and contracts with the Department of Child Services (DCS) and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction. Finally, we offer strength-based supervision that leads to clinical licensure in Indiana.

    Life Solutions Counseling contracts with the Department of Child Services and Juvenile Probation in Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Madison, Tipton, and Boone counties to provide home-based therapy and case management.

    In addition to meeting with individual clients, staff will coordinate care with the Family Case Manager within the Department of Child Services and other providers involved in each client's case. Clients present with various issues, some of the most common being substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, relationship problems with family or significant others, stress management, homelessness, and lack of resources.

    Compensation:

    • The salary range for this position is $40,500 to $71,800 per year. The role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on performance. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, licensure/certifications, scheduled clinical hours, etc.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a directly related human service field from an accredited college is required. (Other bachelor's degrees will be accepted with a minimum of five years of experience working directly with families in the child welfare system.)
    • A valid driver's license and the ability to use a private car to transport oneself and others, in compliance with state policy concerning minimum car insurance coverage.
    • Provide high-quality supervised visits to children and families to assist them in the reunification process.
    • Research and identify useful resources in the community with the client to provide ongoing support.
    • Help clients navigate systems in which they are involved (DCS, public schools, nutritional assistance, etc.)
    • Attend team meetings facilitated by DCS or Juvenile Probation
    • Transport clients to visits and/or appointments as needed.
    • Teach and implement behavior modification techniques to support appropriate conduct.
    • Administer standardized assessments to teenage clients as needed.
    • Complete agency documentation following agency guidelines.
    • Maintain working relationships with referral sources by promptly responding to all communication and outreach.
    • Attend required supervisions and meetings offered by LifeSolutions Counseling.
    • Meet KPIs expected for face-to-face contacts and client services.
