Summary: Seeking a Designer/Drafter with experience in mechanical design and proficiency in Solidworks to support Engineering department through detailed drafting and design work.

Requirements:

• 2-year degree in CAD, Mechanical Design or related field
• Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in mechanical design and drafting
• Proficiency in Solidworks; Inventor or Creo acceptable alternatives
• Knowledge of electromechanical products, communication devices, or similar relevant products

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Computer Aided Drafting equipment for routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams
• Support Engineering by completing additional documentation processes
• Prepare layout drawings for assembling and manufacturing company products
• Develop and maintain designs using CAD software
• Create and revise production drawings including detail and assembly drawings
• Finalize sketches of proposed drawings with precise dimensions, materials, part relationships, and project specifications
• Compute angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and hole locations for machines
• Assist with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)

Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
