Personal Trainer/Wellness Educator / Part TimeThe Personal Trainer/Wellness Educator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive wellness programs and services for employees, community members, schools, and local businesses. This position supports wellness initiatives through program implementation, health education, fitness instruction, and effective communication while ensuring all activities reflect the mission, values, and standards of the organization. The Specialist plays a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing overall well-being across diverse populations. The Personal Trainer/Wellness Educator is an onsite position.Essential Functions
- Design, coordinate, and implement wellness programs, challenges, screenings, and initiatives for employees and community groups, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and protocols.
- Provide confidential health risk appraisals, wellness coaching sessions, educational presentations, and responses to general inquiries related to health, fitness, nutrition, smoking cessation, and related topics.
- Lead exercise classes, perform exercise testing, and develop exercise prescriptions for participants. offering appropriate accommodation for health conditions and physical limitations.
- Support routine wellness activities including program registration, class support, fitness operations, wellness programming, screenings, and related administrative tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to promote wellness programs and events through social media and other communication channels to increase engagement and program participation.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in exercise/health related field
License: Must have a valid driver's license
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical field
Certification:
- BLS
