Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain all audio and video equipment for live broadcasts, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and control systems onboard the cruise ship
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support during broadcasts
Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth operation and execution of live broadcasts
Monitor and adjust audio and video levels to maintain quality and consistency during live broadcasts
Maintain and organize broadcast equipment inventory
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology
Assist in the development and implementation of new broadcast systems and processes
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at sea
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Broadcast Technician
Strong technical knowledge of audio and video equipment and systems
Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support
Experience working in a live broadcast environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel for extended periods of time
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a maritime setting is a plus
