    Job Description

    As a Material Planner, you will plan production and ensure that we have the proper raw material and inputs to produce products to meet our customers' demands. You will manage an S&OP process and help us utilize the MRP module within our ERP system. This critical position will work with sales and marketing to create forecasts and minimum stocking levels. You will also work with manufacturing and procurement to make sure that all raw materials are on site to meet your production and shipment schedule. You will also be tasked with managing inventory to the targeted levels.

    Chemical Coatings

    • Create rolling production schedule.
    • Plan supply of trade and raw materials
    • Own and run the S&OP process.
    • Work with sales and leadership to set minimum and maximum stocking levels of finished goods and raw materials.
    • Ensure sufficient inventory for business functions without overcapitalizing on stock that isn't generating income.
    • Manage the MRP process within ERP System
    • Own the cycle count and physical inventory process.
    • Manage inventory levels and any distribution points to ensure fast deliveries to our important customers.
    • Forecast future inventory requirements based on current and future business trends.
    • Create inventory reports and present suggestions.
    • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field

    • Three years of experience in a Supply Chain Field
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with peers, vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Experience running or participating in an S&OP process.
    • Knowledge of MRP functionality with an ERP system.
    • Experience with E21 ERP a plus.
