    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Director of Procurement to oversee and optimize our client's procurement processes, with a specific focus on managing multi-state and international purchasing operations.

    The Director of Procurement will play a critical role in developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and company policies.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with company goals and objectivesLead a team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers/vendors across multiple states and international marketsIdentify and evaluate suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability of supplyCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risksMonitor and analyze procurement performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to drive cost savings and operational efficiencyEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to procurement activitiesStay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement and supply chain managementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with demonstrated success in multi-state and international purchasing rolesStrong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management principles, and sourcing strategiesExperience leading procurement teams and managing vendor/supplier relationships in a multi-state or global environmentProficiency in contract negotiation, supplier/vendor management, and procurement software/toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirementsBenefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plansRetirement savings plan with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunities and tuition reimbursementDynamic and inclusive work environment with opportunities for career growth#J-18808-Ljbffr
