Job summary

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise-wide IT security infrastructure to ensure the security integrity and availability of the company's information assets.

Responsibilities include providing efficient and effective Infrastructure Security Operations Support of all supported infrastructure security components investigating and analyzing common security incidents developing maintaining and optimizing Incident Response playbooks SOPs to ensure consistent detection containment eradication recovery processes collaborating closely with MSSP refining detection use cases validating alerts coordinating response actions improving overall SOC effectiveness driving containment remediation efforts during active security events working with cross functional teams to minimize impact ensuring rapid recovery conducting root cause analysis producing post incident reports identifying gaps recommending improvements to tooling processes security posture participating in threat hunting activities proactively identifying emerging threats abnormal behaviors in the environment contributing continuous improvement logging monitoring alerting across different platforms providing timely maintenance repair support on all supported infrastructure components ensuring effective change control configuration management of supported infrastructure related components developing executing advanced automation orchestration activities as applicable managing risk identification within technical architecture partnering with infrastructure teams keeping abreast gaining expertise evolving technology understanding new technologies applied our environment research testing relevant products product capability participating vendor community relevant products product capability work under guidance from more senior engineers mentor junior engineers.
