    Our client seeks a dynamic New Business Development Manager with extensive expertise in ingredient sales, specifically within the Southeast region. In this pivotal role, you will engage with diverse functional areas of clientele, spanning research and development, senior management, purchasing, and operations. Leveraging your technical prowess in the specialty chemical industry or Nutritional Supplement sector, coupled with a proven track record in revenue generation, you will drive success in a burgeoning US-based manufacturing company, offering exceptional prospects for professional advancement. Residence in or near Georgia is a prerequisite.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across a spectrum of sectors including Dietary Supplements, Sports Nutrition, Nutrition Food, Flavor, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids, Surfactants & Emulsifiers, and Household, Industrial & Institutional.
    • Develop and execute robust sales strategies, setting ambitious revenue targets, and oversee the entire sales lifecycle from initial outreach to deal closure.
    • Foster enduring relationships with key clients, comprehensively understanding their unique requirements and tailoring bespoke solutions aligned with our product portfolio.
    • Remain abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory shifts to ensure the company maintains its competitive edge.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as product development and marketing to craft compelling value propositions and strategic marketing initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Science, Nutrition, or Business, supplemented with industry experience.
    • Demonstrated Outside Sales acumen with 5+ years of experience in selling ingredients within markets such as Dietary Supplements, Sports Nutrition, human or animal Nutrition, Food, Flavor, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids, and Household, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I).
    • Established relationships with existing accounts within the designated territory.
