Job Description

• Set up and prepare cutting equipment.
• Operate oxy-fuel cutting torches to cut and shape metal according to specifications
• Cutting Material such as Carbon, Low Alloy, and Alloy Steel
• Experience with Beveling, Straight Line, Circle and Shapes Cutting Process
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine cutting specifications.
• Position and secure metal pieces for cutting.
• Adjust cutting torches to achieve desired cuts.
• Monitor cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect finished pieces for defects and adjust as needed.
• Maintain and clean cutting equipment.

• 1-3 years of experience as a flame cutter
• Proficiency in oxy-fuel cutting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Knowledge of Aluminum, and alloy steel metals
• Experience with Welding and Torching
