Our spacious salon is equipped with laundry facilities, a comfortable breakroom, and ample free parking. Additionally, our location boasts the convenience of two restaurants just yards away, enhancing the overall experience for both our staff and clients.


    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled hair stylist who is interested in operating as an independent contractor within our salon. The ideal candidate should possess a solid client base and be willing to rent a station full-time. This position offers the opportunity to work in an upscale salon environment, catering to affluent clientele while enjoying the benefits of a supportive and team-oriented culture.


    Responsibilities:


    1. Provide exceptional hair styling and finishing services to clients, meeting their individual needs and preferences.
    2. Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients, ensuring a positive salon experience.
    3. Manage appointments efficiently, demonstrating strong time management and multitasking abilities.
    4. Collaborate with salon team members to uphold our commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork.
    5. Actively participate in building and retaining clientele through outstanding service, networking, and social media engagement.
    6. Fulfill financial obligations by paying monthly rent for station usage within the salon.
    7. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, continuously improving skills to deliver cutting-edge services.

    Requirements:


    1. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with clients and colleagues.
    2. Strong time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced salon environment.
    3. Demonstrated artistic talent and creativity in hair styling and finishing techniques.
    4. Ability to pay monthly rent for station usage within the salon.
    5. Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive salon culture.

    Qualifications:


    1. Passion for building genuine connections with customers and providing exceptional service.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a hairstylist, with a portfolio showcasing proficiency in various hair styling techniques.
    3. Current and valid California cosmetology license.
    4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
    5. Drive, motivation, and a desire to excel in the hairstyling industry, coupled with a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
