The Injection Molding Technician supports PET bottle production line maintaining machines diagnosing performing preventative corrective maintenance cross-trained in Process/Maintenance-Technician Blow Molding role responsible for process improvement new technology process assisting Chief Engineer Management team other projects assigned.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all quality safety and work rules regulations.
- Adheres to all instructions Good Manufacturing Practices housekeeping procedures monitor adjust bottle processes optimize bottle quality minimize scrap maintain quality complete preform bottle changeovers become proficient facility specific blow molder injection equipment operations troubleshooting replace repair machine parts assist machine installation reduce Scrap promote efficient cycle time provide innovative creative solutions production problems follow complete Start-up Shut-down procedure Company Machine requirements preventative Maintenance maintain downtime documentation shift support data collection problem solving daily meetings assists cross-training technicians perform tasks mold changes mold cleaning starting stopping injection molding machines starting stopping conveyors purging out injection molding machine changing drying filters maintenance chiller system technical school training preferred high school diploma equivalent required english skills proficient read write communicate basic math skills basic computer skills basic mechanical trouble shooting repair basic electrical trouble shooting repair must able work minimal supervision able work effectively independently team environment ability operate material handling equipment committed entire organization understand comply applicable OSHA safety rules regulations Lock-out/Tag-out requirements must able become forklift certified within days physical Requirements include prolonged periods time lift carry lbs push pull twist climb balance stoop kneel crawl repetitive motions reaching grasping medical HMO dental vision insurance premium 401k plan Employer contributes up vacation sick pay eight paid holidays per year Basic Life Insurance Paid policy Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer discriminate applicants veteran status disability race gender gender identity sexual orientation protected characteristics
