Sr Database Platform Engineer needs 5 - 7 years experience

Sr Database Platform Engineer requires:

• Oracle Database Administration, RAC / TAF / Services / Active Data Guard, Backup/Recovery, Failover
• Flexible to work off hours and weekends
• Charlotte, NC, Iselin, NJ
• Extensive experience in High Availability & Disaster Recovery Scenarios - RAC / TAF / Services / Active Data Guard
• Solid hands-on experience with Database technologies supporting 24x7 business critical applications -Oracle
• Well versed with Database architecture Oracle
• Extensive knowledge of backup & recovery and Data Center switchover/Failover scenarios (Incremental/Full/Flashback/Cloning)
• Deep knowledge of industry-standard, enterprise-class best practices for a large database environment
• Excellent automation experience with Python, YAML, Unix Shell scripting, etc.

Sr Database Platform Engineer duties:

• Provide DBA support on all aspects of databases administration including provisioning, backup/recovery, replication, deployment and real time production troubleshooting responsibilities on Oracle
