    Job DetailsCT Tech – 36hrs.


    Days shift from 7:
    30am to 8:00pm.

    Under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead, performs diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.

    Ensures patient safety in all procedures and provides excellent customer service.
    Preferred 1 year of CT experience but not required.

    Skill sets include CT scanning proficiency, IV and oral/GI contrast administration, ability to respond effectively in an emergency, EMR documentation capabilities, effective communication and organization skills, and a professional demeanor.

    Uses Epic and Visage EMR systems.
    Experience with GE CT scanner preferred but not required.
    Rotating shifts required as needed.
    Job RequirementsARRT (CT) certification required.
    Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required.
    BLS certification required (AHA only for Salem Hospital).

    Must have primary source verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.

    N95 fit test within 365 days to start date and updated annually.
    Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
    Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 1- April 30) with no exemptions.

    Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break.

    Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break.

    MGB criminal background check and Massachusetts CORI required within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break.

    MGB education verification, SSN trace, national sex offender check, and exclusion checks required.
    Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required for skill.
    Schedule Information36 hours per week, dayshift from 7:30am to 8:00pm.
    Rotating shifts required as needed.

    Unit Specific InformationUnit:
    CT department.

    Must have experience with GE CT scanner preferred but not required.
    Additional DetailsAHA BLS certification required (Salem Hospital accepts only AHA).
    Preferred Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity.
    Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years and updated upon expiration.
    Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation.
    Two recent references required, minimum one supervisor or above in skillset.
    MGB resume, skills checklist, and candidate submission coversheet required for submission.
