Location: Cold Spring, MN

Status: This is a full-time; hourly position

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 4:50 AM – 3:20 PM; Fridays: 4:50 AM – 11:00 AM; Overtime as needed

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Loading and unloading saws with an overhead crane or by hand, based on the size of the slab or stone being cut
Reading production tickets to determine work to be completed
Reviewing work to ensure it meets production ticket specifications before and after cutting
Indexing the saw blades to the correct sizes and dimensions based on the stone being cut
Applying patterns and layout stone to utilize raw stone materials best
Loading pre-programmed profiles from the network
Performing operator-level calibration and alignment of the saws
Creating cutting and profile programs for all of the saws from shop tickets and network .dxf files using AutoCAD
Monitoring the saw during operation to make adjustments and corrections as needed
Applying general knowledge of stone tolerances to repair, mill, apply angle and shape cuts, specific tooling, and other detailed work that is required per customer specifications
Troubleshooting cutting problems that periodically arise
Labeling all cut pieces with the correct job ID number
Scanning bar code on production tickets to record work performed in the JDE system
