    MYPAC Supervisor - Position Overview

  • MYPAC Supervisors will provide clinical and administrative supervisory support to the MYPAC team members delivering services to the families who participate in the MYPAC Program.
  • The Supervisor will possess strong organizational and leadership skills and will coordinate caseloads and ensure that the Region's staff members provide all required services to families in a timely, compassionate, and competent fashion.
  • As required by location. the MYPAC Supervisor will carry a reduced clinical case load as well.
  • Job Responsibilities :

    Clinical responsibilities for providing direct services:

  • Completes programmatic assessments as assigned within designated timeframes and uses feedback from the assessments to plan for clinical interventions with client.
  • Completes initial clinical goals, objectives and interventions for the Individual Service Plan twenty-four hours of admission in coordination with the youth and
  • Completes monthly ISP Reviews, monitors and documents progress toward treatment goals. Implements clinical treatment interventions based on the ISP and individualized needs of the child/family.
  • Conducts individual therapy sessions and family therapy sessions as required by Medicaid or determined by clinical assess. All services are provided in the home or community. Documents all sessions in Evolv.
  • Attends all scheduled psychological evaluations, psychiatric reviews and medication management telemed appointments with youth, family and the staff psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.
  • Works collaboratively with youth, family and staff psychiatrist to modify clinical interventions, treatment plan goals/objectives, medications and other services as needed in the event of severe behavior regression or adverse medication side effects.
  • Attends clinical staffing with the staff psychiatrist or nurse practitioner at least once a month/as needed.
  • Provides and coordinates clinical services that are youth focused and builds on the family and community strengths.
  • Works in a team context with family members, community agencies, and stakeholders across family serving systems.
  • Planning, managing and supervising the MYPAC Team in accordance with organization, local, state and federal guidelines, practices and objectives.

  • Assist in maintaining appropriate program accreditation, certification, and licensure.
  • Implement bylaws, plans and procedures of program as directed.
  • Implement, as needed, and assists in reviewing, annually, policies and procedures assuring the effective operation of the MYPAC Program.
  • Provide and document individual and group supervision with staff.
  • Assure the integrity of clinical services within the MYPAC program by:

  • Review current program designs and assists in modification as necessary.
  • Assure integrity of client records and personal data.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of charts to ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining procedures regarding client confidentiality as needed.
  • Plan and implements the staff development programs for all MYPAC staff.
  • Assure that each client is receiving appropriate care through ongoing case reviews and wraparound team meetings.
  • Oversee the Treatment Planning and Discharge planning process for each client.
  • Provide ancillary clinical support services for clients as needed.
  • Inform staff and/or other program personnel of client and family/guardian concerns when appropriate.
  • Carries out all administrative duties, which include:

  • Meet weekly with MYPAC staff to assure proper communication and input from outside agencies and individuals.
  • Provide case staffing and case consultation to provide direction for the Crisis Management Plan and Individualized Service Plans.
  • Assure the proper credentials of clinical staff in the program.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Master's degree required in Social Work, Counseling, Social Rehabilitative Services or related field and at least two (2) years' experience working with children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and their families in a similar or more restrictive placement environment, as well as two (2) years of supervision experience.
  • A professional license (, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, or LPC) or DMH credential as Mental Health Therapist is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate competence in writing program materials, completing reports and assisting with preparation of reimbursement documents related to payment for services provided.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Some experience with general marketing of programs and services to select groups required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Mississippi driver's license, a good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and must be willing to use personal vehicle for organization business
