Position Information:
The Wound Care Associate provides care and services to acute care patients and their families in the areas of wound, ostomy and continence in a manner that is consistent with the vision, mission, and values of WakeMed.
Quality care and education based on current research and standards of care. Provides advanced wound care and ostomy treatments following established orders for care. Collaborates with healthcare team for changes in wound and ostomy care.Experience Requirements:
2 Years Nursing - Related Area Required
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required - And Certified Wound Care Nurse Required - Within 1 Year of Hire And Certified Ostomy Care Nurse Required - Within 24 Months of Hire
