    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) System Analyst to join our team. As a CTRM System Analyst, you will be responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Allegro system, a commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) software suite. Your primary focus will be on ensuring system availability, performance, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations and achieve organizational goals.

    Position Summary:

    Reporting to the Director of Business Applications Green Plains Inc., the CTRM System Analyst is an integral part of the Green Plains Development Team at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Responsible for analysis, recommendation, and implementation of solutions within the Allegro architecture that benefit business units across the enterprise. Areas of focus will include maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of issues within the Allegro system.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain the Allegro system, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
    • Develop and implement system administration procedures, best practices, and standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations and enhancements.
    • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including data backups, security updates, and system patches.
    • Conduct system testing, performance tuning, and capacity planning to optimize system performance and scalability.
    • Provide end-user support and training on the use of the Allegro system, resolving user issues and addressing inquiries.
    • Collaborate with vendors and support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a System Analyst, preferably with expertise in managing and supporting a CTRM system.
    • In-depth knowledge of CTRM system architecture, functionality, and configuration options.
    • Strong understanding of database management systems (such as Oracle, SQL Server) and experience with SQL queries and scripting.
    • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, including networking, server environments, and storage systems.
    • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving system issues and assessing or mitigating performance bottlenecks.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
    • Experience in documenting system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
