- Conduct prehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills, including receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, addressing areas of need and targeting specific speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques to improve munication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational programs and support their participation in classroom activities.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, regularly reviewing goals and objectives to ensure meaningful outes.
- Document assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in pliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, to discuss students' progress, share remendations, and coordinate services.
- Provide education and support to teachers and staff on strategies for promoting speech and language development in the classroom and facilitating munication with students.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid New Jersey state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and social munication difficulties.
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative munication (AAC) systems and assistive technology devices to support students with plex munication needs.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing IEP goals in pliance with state and federal regulations.
