    Job Description Job Description WTI, an accredited institution and the leader in technical hands-on training, is seeking a Corporate Director of Career Services.

    This individual will Lead, Train, and Support the Career Services Team on how to provide guidance to students in overcoming barriers to employment by utilizing leadership skills to assist in advancing their careers.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEstablish and Cultivate Relationships with New EmployersTrue Headhunter/ RecruiterOversee placement of graduates and current students within field of study.

    Track placement numbers and report findings to Corporate Director of Operations.
    Responsible for meeting accreditation numbers for graduation and employment.
    Ensure consistent career and student services practices at all campuses.
    Provide input for retention initiatives incorporated into all programs.
    Develop initiatives that contribute to placement of graduates.
    Train and manage Career Services staff.
    Oversee the selection of Career Services staff.
    Work with staff to establish expectations and goals. Provide ongoing feedback and coach staff.
    Oversee soft skill training of students.
    Assist Campus Director with addressing student issues and providing ongoing follow up.
    Be actively involved in retention meetings.
    Provide coaching and direction to instructors regarding career focus and student issues.
    Ensure all communication with students and graduates is documented.
    Provide a realistic but positive view of the field and current job market.
    Regular, punctual attendance is required.
    Other duties, as assigned.
